After Hours Care

For an Emergency Care: go to the nearest hospital or if needed call 911

For non Emergency Care:

Dr. Copeland is part of a Family Health Organization  (FHO) made up of 10 doctors in the Whitby Area. Among these 10 doctors, there is always a physician on call.

If you need to be seen and the Anderson Medical Centre is closed,  you can use the after-hours service. The doctor on call for the FHO will see you in his/her office.

You may call our office to see what Doctor is on call or call our FHO hot line (905-668-3987) for the weekly schedule.

The after-hours service is available Monday-Thursday 5-8 PM and on Saturdays      9-12 PM, excluding statutory holidays and is available to Dr. Copeland's patients.

If you are a rostered patient with Dr. Copeland, it is important to stay within our Family Health Organization for you care.  Please read the following letter from Dr. Copeland as to why this is so important.
